Build Document Dashboards with Cline and Extracta
Tell Cline to build a frontend component using your live document data. The agent calls `upload_file_url` to process your source files, polls `get_results` to retrieve the structured JSON, and writes the React code to render it. It does the end-to-end work of importing the API payload, writing component tests, and showing you the diff. You get a functional UI built on real document data without writing any boilerplate integration code.
Automated Document Classification in Cline
Cline handles file routing by automating classification tasks. The agent sets up rules using `create_classification` and checks incoming files with `get_classification_results` to determine if a document is an invoice, receipt, or contract. Once classified, Cline writes the logic to route the files to their respective folders. By combining this MCP Server with Cline's file system access, you can build local document sorting pipelines inside VS Code.
Manage Extraction Configurations in VS Code
You can manage your entire document processing lifecycle without leaving your editor. Cline connects to the MCP Server to use `create_extraction` to spin up new extraction endpoints and `delete_extraction` to clean up deprecated schemas. If a schema needs a quick fix, Cline runs `update_extraction` to adjust the expected fields. It keeps your development environment synchronized with your document processing backend.
