How to Use the Fantastical MCP in Cursor
Let Cursor manage your Fantastical calendar and tasks directly from your editor while you write code.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Fantastical MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Fantastical to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Code with real-time schedule awareness in Cursor
Stop guessing when your next standup is while you are deep in a coding session. Your Cursor agent can run `list_events` to check your actual calendar events directly from the sidebar. By feeding real calendar data into your editor, you can write code to automate your day or just make sure you don't miss a deployment window. Use `get_event` to pull specific invite details into your active workspace.
Create events using natural language inside Cursor
When a team lead asks for a quick sync, don't break your flow to open your calendar app. Just tell the Cursor chat to block out time, and it will run `create_event` with the natural language engine. Need to track a bug fix? Run `create_reminder` to push a task straight into your setup without taking your hands off the keyboard.
Manage team proposals from this MCP Server
Keep track of client meetings and scheduling links without leaving your codebase. This server lets your agent fetch active meeting pages using `list_openings` right in your terminal panel. You can also track who responded to your invites by running `list_proposals`. If a slot is finalized, your agent can grab the details with `get_opening` and update your files or database records to match.
