…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Figshare MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Figshare to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
End-to-end dataset creation in Cline
Cline takes your raw output and handles the full ingestion process using `create_private_article` and `complete_file_upload`. It manages the multi-step handshake required for large datasets. You avoid the tedious task of manual entry. Cline verifies the upload status and confirms when your data is successfully stored in the repository.
Organize research projects using Cline
Use `create_project` and `create_collection` to group your related scholarly outputs into logical containers. Cline keeps your repository structure clean as you generate more data. This helps you maintain order without manual curation. The agent tracks your project IDs and ensures every new article is assigned to the correct collection.
Analyze article metrics via Cline
Get real-time insights on your research impact by running `get_article_views` and `get_article_downloads` through the agent. It aggregates your performance data into a readable summary. Knowing how many people engage with your work is vital for grant reporting. Cline pulls these numbers directly from the Figshare API so you have the data ready when you need it.
