How to Use the Finmei MCP in Cursor
Feed live Finmei ledger data straight into your Cursor agent to build financial features with real numbers.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Finmei MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Finmei to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Connect Cursor to your Finmei account
Stop writing mock data in Cursor when building financial dashboards or checkout flows. This MCP Server lets your Cursor agent pull live numbers using `get_expense` and `get_payment` to populate your code with actual production values. It makes debugging Finmei integrations inside Cursor much faster because you see how your UI handles real-world API payloads. You don't have to guess how a multi-currency transaction looks when your editor can grab it instantly.
Manage Finmei tax categories inside Cursor
When you are coding a billing integration in Cursor, you need to know exactly which Finmei tax rules apply. Your agent calls `list_tax_types` and `list_categories` to grab your live configurations. This means you can write accurate validation logic in Cursor without leaving your editor. Your code matches your actual Finmei business setup from the very first run.
Clean up test transactions inside Cursor
Testing financial code in Cursor always leaves a trail of junk entries. Instead of logging into a web dashboard, tell your Cursor agent to run MCP tools like `delete_expense` or `delete_payment` to clear out your sandbox. Working inside a single window keeps your focus where it belongs so you can write Finmei code faster.
