End-to-end documentation scraping with Cline
The `scrape_url` tool fetches any single web page and feeds clean markdown directly into Cline's context window. Cline uses this data to write code, build UI components, or debug errors based on the latest live documentation. You do not need to copy and paste API docs. Just point Cline to this MCP Server, and it extracts the exact syntax needed to write your implementation.
Autonomous site mapping using MCP Server tools
The `map_website_structure` tool discovers all available endpoints on a target domain so Cline can plan its extraction. Cline reads the output array, filters out useless pages, and targets only the directories relevant to your task. This saves hours of manual site navigation. Cline handles the discovery phase, compiles the list of URLs, and starts writing code using the mapped structure.
Background domain crawling for large codebases
The `start_crawl` tool launches an asynchronous job to scrape entire documentation sites into markdown. Cline monitors the progress using `get_crawl_status` and writes your codebase incrementally as the pages finish processing. If the crawl hits a rate limit or goes too deep, Cline calls `cancel_active_crawl` to halt the process. You get a local folder filled with clean markdown files without configuring a complex MCP setup.
