How to Use the Firecrawl MCP in Cursor
Inject live web data into your codebase with Firecrawl and Cursor Agent.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Firecrawl MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Firecrawl to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Direct web context in Cursor
Use `scrape_url` to pull current documentation or API specs directly into your Cursor chat. The agent reads the markdown and writes your implementation code based on the latest data. Stop guessing how an API works. Get the source of truth right in your editor while you code.
Map site structure for context
Call `map_website_structure` to understand how a documentation site is organized. It helps the agent target the right pages during long development sessions. You avoid wasting credits on irrelevant pages. It keeps the context window focused on what actually matters for your build.
Control the crawl from the editor
Run `start_crawl` when you need to ingest a massive library of info into your project context. You can check `get_crawl_status` to see when it finishes. Everything stays inside your workflow. You never have to leave Cursor to fetch external information anymore.
