How to Use the Fireflies.ai MCP in Cline
Cline uses the Fireflies.ai MCP Server to fetch meeting data and build features based on real-time discussions.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Fireflies.ai MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Fireflies.ai to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline executes tasks from transcript data
Cline uses `get_transcript` to extract action items from your meetings. It then writes the necessary code or creates tickets based on those specific requirements. This bridges the gap between talking about a feature and building it. You tell Cline what you need, and it fetches the context from your meetings to do the heavy lifting.
Automate meeting analytics with Cline
Run `get_analytics` to pull meeting engagement metrics directly into your coding environment. Cline processes this data to help you identify which meetings require follow-up actions. It turns raw meeting participation data into actionable insights for your sprint planning. You spend less time analyzing engagement and more time shipping code.
Invite your agent to live meetings
Use `add_to_live_meeting` to bring the Fireflies bot into your current call. Cline manages the connection so you don't have to worry about the setup. This ensures every technical discussion is captured from the start. You get a reliable record of the conversation that you can query immediately after the call ends.
