Terminal-Driven Event Injection

Pipe database changes or deployment logs directly into `create_event` using your shell. Claude Code handles the argument parsing and pushes live social proof events without a browser. If a deploy script fails, the terminal agent can run `delete_event` to pull down premature notifications. It keeps your site's feed accurate using fast command-line execution.

CLI-Based Template Auditing

Audit your notification styles by running `list_templates` to pipe the JSON output into local filters. You can view specific design parameters with `get_template` directly in your terminal. There is no need to log into a web dashboard when you want to check your active configurations. Everything happens from the command line.

Headless Integration Monitoring via MCP Server

Set up cron jobs and shell scripts using `list_integrations` to verify that your active connections are sending data. The command-line tool checks your connection status in real-time. This MCP Server lets you check your delivery rates by running `list_push_messages` directly in your terminal. SREs can diagnose delivery bottlenecks during live deploys without leaving their SSH session.

Common questions about Fomo MCP in Claude Code

Run `claude mcp add --transport http fomo-mcp -- ` in your terminal. Make sure to put all transport flags before the server name.
Yes, you can pipe live build statuses into `create_event` during your deployment pipeline. The terminal agent automates this process without needing a GUI.
Ask the agent to fetch the event ID. It will call `get_event` and print the raw JSON output directly to your terminal window.
Yes, you can run `list_push_messages` to see what has been sent. This lets you debug delivery issues directly from your command-line interface.
Your notification templates and credentials remain locked in your local `~/.claude.json` file. The server processes queries using standard stdout/stdin pipes, preventing external leaks.
