Connect FOSSA (License Compliance) MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect FOSSA (License Compliance) to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
End-to-end dependency auditing in VS Code
By calling `list_projects` and `get_revision`, Cline pulls active compliance reports directly into your VS Code environment. Using this MCP Server, Cline pulls your compliance data and inspects specific builds. If Cline finds a compliance issue, it can immediately open the package manifest, rewrite the dependency version, run an install command, and commit the fix to your branch.
Trace deep dependency chains automatically
Using `get_revision_dependencies` and `get_parent_projects`, Cline traces the exact origin of nested dependencies. This MCP server lets Cline map out the entire tree of what your software actually imports. If a deep dependency triggers a license alert, Cline locates the source. It then presents a clear diff showing you exactly where the offending library entered your codebase.
Run live vulnerability checks with Cline
The `check_vulnerabilities` and `list_revisions` tools allow Cline to test your workspace against known CVEs before you push code. This active check ensures that you never push code that violates your team's security standards. You get immediate feedback right inside your terminal sidebar.
