Connect Frame.io MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Frame.io to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Integrations with Real Data
Stop coding against stale, mocked data. Tell Cursor's agent to fetch live asset information from your Frame.io project using `get_asset_details` or `list_assets`. The agent calls the tool and injects the actual JSON response right into your editor. This means the code you write to handle Frame.io webhooks or build custom reports works the first time, because it's built with real-world data structures.
Automate Post-Production Workflows in Cursor
Writing a script to automate your review process? You can have the agent `list_review_links` for a project, then loop through them to `list_asset_comments`. This lets you build and test automation scripts inside your IDE. You can even have it draft a summary of feedback or use `add_comment` to automatically flag technical issues. It's your entire creative pipeline, right in the editor.
Query Project Structures on the Fly
When you're building a tool, you need to know the lay of the land. Ask the agent to run `list_projects` or `list_teams` to understand the account structure you're working with. It's faster than digging through API docs. Get a list of collaborators on a project with `list_collaborators` to build out permissions logic, or use `list_folders` to map out a project's directory structure. This MCP connection gives you the ground truth.
