Connect Frame.io MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Frame.io to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cascade chains asset inspection and feedback loops
`get_asset_details` gives Cascade direct access to your Frame.io video files and metadata. Tell the agent to grab a specific asset, and it will read the frame rate, file size, and upload status without you clicking through the web app. Once it has the details, Cascade can immediately call `list_asset_comments` to scan for unresolved feedback. It looks at the timeline, finds where the editor left off, and prepares the next steps in your workspace.
Autonomous review link generation
`list_review_links` lets your Cascade agent track active review URLs and compile progress reports for clients. You don't have to open a browser to see who has access to the latest cut. The agent chains this with `list_collaborators` to verify which team members are assigned to the review. It runs the entire audit trail in one go, updating your local project files with the current reviewer list.
Direct project mapping via the Windsurf MCP Server
`list_projects` acts as the entry point for Cascade to map out your entire active Frame.io team workspace. The agent pulls the project list and matches it against your local git branches or directories. It then uses `list_folders` and `list_assets` to sync your local video exports with remote folders. Cascade handles the mapping sequence from team selection to folder verification autonomously.
