…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Franchimp MCP to CrewAI
Create your Vinkius account to connect Franchimp to CrewAI and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Multi-Agent Franchise Research
Your CrewAI setup uses `search_franchisors` to let a dedicated Research Agent scan the market for emerging brands. This agent passes its findings into shared memory, where an Analysis Agent takes over. The system operates autonomously, chaining specialized roles to break down complex market landscapes without you lifting a finger. The Analysis Agent immediately calls `get_investment_stats` and `get_franchise_details` on the targets identified in step one. Because CrewAI agents share context, the second agent knows exactly which franchise IDs to query. You get a fully automated research department running in your terminal.
Autonomous Lead Generation Squads
Assign a Lead Gen Agent to run `list_multi_unit_operators` and pinpoint high-capacity buyers. Once it finds a match, a separate Outreach Agent triggers `get_franchisee_details` or `find_franchisee_by_email` to gather contact information. They hand off tasks sequentially, building a verified prospect list while you sleep. You control exactly which tools each agent can access. By using `MCPServerHTTP` with a `tool_filter`, you restrict the Outreach Agent from accidentally calling `list_fdd_documents`. This strict separation of duties prevents runaway token usage and keeps your agents focused.
Monitored FDD Extraction with CrewAI
Your CrewAI architecture deploys a Moderator Agent to oversee a Compliance Agent tasked with calling `get_fdd_metadata`. The Moderator watches the session logs in real-time. If the Compliance Agent tries to pull too many records at once, the Moderator steps in and halts the operation. Before any heavy lifting starts, an Admin Agent queries `list_available_credits` and `get_account_info` to verify system limits. You configure the transport layer via stdio or SSE, and the crew handles the rest. The entire operation runs autonomously from your CLI.
Set up Franchimp MCP in CrewAI
Prerequisites
- Python 3.10+ installed
-
crewaipackage (pip install crewai) - Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
- 1
Install CrewAI
Run
pip install crewaito install the framework. MCP support is built-in via themcpsparameter. - 2
Add the MCP URL to your agent
Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the
mcpslist. Replace[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically. - 3
Kick off your crew
Create a
Crewwith your agent and tasks. Callcrew.kickoff()— the agent will automatically invoke Franchimp tools as needed.
from crewai import Agent, Task, Crew
agent = Agent(
role="Franchimp Analyst",
goal="Access and analyze Franchimp data via MCP.",
backstory="Expert analyst with direct Franchimp access.",
mcps=[
"https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
],
)
task = Task(
description="List recent Franchimp transactions",
agent=agent,
expected_output="A summary of recent activity",
)
crew = Crew(agents=[agent], tasks=[task])
result = crew.kickoff()

- 1
Install dependencies
Run
pip install crewai crewai-tools. TheMCPServerAdapterhandles lifecycle management and tool conversion. - 2
Connect with MCPServerAdapter
Use
