How to Use the Geocodio MCP in Cursor
Generate code using live Geocodio API responses directly inside your Cursor editor sessions.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Geocodio MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Geocodio to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build location-aware apps inside Cursor Agent Mode
This Geocodio MCP server lets Cursor execute `geocode_us_address` directly during a coding session, feeding real coordinate data back into your active workspace. Your Cursor agent writes the integration code and tests it using live Geocodio responses. You know your coordinate-parsing logic works before you ever commit the code.
Resolve batch database migrations from your editor
When migrating legacy database tables, calling `batch_enriched_geocode` via this MCP link updates thousands of customer records directly from your Cursor editor. The tool appends precise timezones and census codes to your raw address lists, allowing Cursor to update your SQL migration scripts using the live output.
Verify coordinate strings using the Geocodio MCP Server
Debugging parsing errors in coordinate strings is easier when using `format_coordinate_string` inside Cursor to inspect how the API interprets messy geographic input. The tool returns clean, parsed latitude and longitude values, allowing Cursor to flag formatting issues in your source files before deployment.
