How to Use the GetFeedback MCP in Cline
Let Cline build reports and dashboards in VS Code using your live GetFeedback data.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect GetFeedback MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect GetFeedback to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Components with Live Data
The `get_survey_stats` tool feeds live data directly into your agent. Tell Cline to “create a React component that shows the latest NPS scores.” It fetches the data and then writes the actual component code for you. Cline doesn't just print data to the chat. It creates the file, adds the necessary imports, and structures the component around the live data from `list_recent_feedback`. You just review the diff and commit.
Generate Reports on the Fly
The `list_surveys` tool lets Cline see all your available surveys. You can ask it to generate a quick markdown report of all surveys and their response counts. It will call `list_surveys` and then loop through them, calling `get_survey_stats` for each one. The final output is a formatted file, created right in your workspace. This is much faster than scripting it yourself. Cline handles the API calls and the file creation in a single step.
Debug Issues with Cline and Your MCP Server
The `get_response_details` tool gives your agent deep insight into specific feedback. When a customer reports a problem, ask Cline to “pull the full details for response ID #12345.” It gets you the metadata you need, right in your editor. This GetFeedback MCP Server gives Cline the context it needs to help you code. It's not just an assistant; it's an agent that interacts with your live customer data to help you solve problems faster.
