End-to-end task execution for Cline
Cline acts on your behalf by invoking `create_task` to generate tickets based on your project requirements. It handles the entire lifecycle, from initializing a task to closing it via `toggle_task_done`. This integration eliminates manual entry. The agent reads your project board with `list_tasks` and writes back updates, ensuring your management system always reflects your current coding progress.
Automated subtask management in Cline
Break down large features using `link_subtask` to keep your work granular. Cline maps these relationships, allowing you to track progress across complex user stories without leaving your IDE. Adding detail is handled via `create_checklist_item`. The agent fills out acceptance criteria while you code, maintaining a clear record of what needs finishing.
Direct task access in Cline
Reference specific tickets using `get_task_by_code` to pull in requirements immediately. Cline parses this data, allowing it to write code that aligns with your defined project goals. Communication is centralized. Use `create_comment` to log your progress on a task, keeping your team updated with rich text notes provided by the agent.
