…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Glean MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Glean to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Autonomous document indexing with Cline
The tool executes `index_document` to push your updated local specs straight to Glean, keeping the entire company's knowledge base updated. If a feature spec changes, Cline calls `delete_document` to remove stale requirements from the index. This prevents outdated APIs or deprecated endpoints from polluting your team's search results.
AI-driven code context retrieval via MCP Server
This integration runs `get_answer` to pull direct, synthesized answers from your enterprise docs, using the exact context of the file you are currently editing in Cline. It combines this with `chat_completion` to draft code that aligns with internal governance rules. The agent handles the API communication, parses the results, and writes the code directly into your editor.
Deep datasource querying inside Cline
This MCP server allows Cline to crawl external platforms. By calling `search_datasource`, the agent locates technical schemas and database architectures stored outside your local git repository. It parses these files, identifies the relevant schemas, and uses them to write integration tests. You get accurate, context-aware code without copying and pasting API schemas from your browser.
