…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Glean MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Glean to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Deep SaaS search directly inside Windsurf
This integration uses `search_docs` to scour your company's Glean instance, pulling up CRM records and internal wikis directly into your active coding session. The agent reads your workspace context and runs `search_datasource` behind the scenes. It matches your current file context with external company documentation, feeding the exact technical specifications into Windsurf's next code-generation step.
Autonomous knowledge synthesis for Cascade
By executing `get_answer` and `chat_completion`, Windsurf queries your enterprise knowledge base to synthesize internal architecture guidelines. If the standard documentation is missing or outdated, Cascade invokes `get_suggestions` to find related threads or team members who worked on the codebase. It uses this context to patch the code without guessing or breaking existing patterns.
Instant team directory lookup via MCP Server
This MCP Server runs `search_people` to pinpoint the exact engineer responsible for the microservice you are editing. It pulls up their contact info and recent documentation updates directly in Windsurf. You can ask Cascade to draft an explanation of the changes you made, ready to send to the exact team lead who owns the repo.
