Terminal-based project management

Use `list_projects` and `get_project_details` to pull construction data straight into your shell. It allows you to pipe output into your own scripts or CI/CD pipelines. Claude Code handles the authentication, meaning you can run `create_customer` or `create_task` from a remote server. It is built for engineers who prefer the command line.

Automated labor logging via CLI

Run `list_registered_hours` to verify team activity without leaving your terminal. The tool outputs raw data that you can filter using standard shell commands. It allows you to trigger `register_hours` as part of a cron job or a build process. This keeps your records accurate without any manual input.

Site safety reports in Claude Code

Fetch your HSE forms via `list_forms` to monitor site compliance from your desk. You can grep the output to find specific safety issues in seconds. Claude Code uses `list_workspace_users` to verify who is active on a project. It gives you immediate visibility into your site operations from any shell session.

Common questions about Gripr MCP in Claude Code

Run `claude mcp add --transport http Gripr ` in your terminal. Ensure all flags are placed before the server name to register the tools correctly.
Yes, because Claude Code is headless, it works in any CI/CD environment. It executes your commands and returns the result to your pipeline.
It uses the Vinkius V8 sandbox to isolate your tools. You only provide an endpoint token, keeping your actual API secrets off your machine.
The connection is established when you start the session. Your configuration is saved in `~/.claude.json` for easy access next time you log in.
Your project logs and user lists are encrypted in transit. The server only has access to the specific construction data requested during your active session.
