Connect Hive (Project Management) MCP to Cursor

Code against real requirements.
The `get_action` tool fetches specific ticket requirements straight into your Cursor editor. You highlight a function, ask Agent mode what the ticket demands, and it reads the exact Hive task. It stops you from writing code based on outdated assumptions. The AI sees the acceptance criteria and writes implementation logic that actually matches the spec.
Generate types from live workspaces.
The `list_projects` and `list_workspaces` tools expose your Hive structure to the AI. If you need to write an API integration that syncs internal tools with specific Hive projects, Cursor pulls the real IDs. The agent uses `list_actions` to grab a sample of real task data. It then generates TypeScript interfaces that perfectly match your actual project payloads.
Scaffold scripts with Cursor and Hive templates.
The `list_templates` tool grabs your standardized task structures. When you write automation scripts in Cursor to bulk-create project items, the AI knows exactly which fields are required. It pairs this with `list_labels` to ensure the code applies the correct tags. You skip the API documentation entirely because the MCP Server feeds the live schema to the editor.
