How to Use the Homebase MCP in Cursor
Inject real-time labor data into your codebase. Use the Homebase MCP Server directly inside Cursor.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Homebase MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Homebase to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Pull live employee data into Cursor
Stop stubbing out your data models. Use `list_employees` and `get_employee_profile` to pull actual staff records into your agent's context while you write code. This ensures your logic handles real employee names and roles. Your agent works with live data, so your features match reality from day one.
Automate shift-based logic in Cursor
Build features that react to schedule changes. Your agent can call `list_scheduled_shifts` to check when employees are on the clock. This is useful for building internal tools that need to know who is available. It saves you from manual API wiring and hardcoded mocks.
Track labor metrics via Homebase MCP Server
Need to analyze budget performance? Use `list_labor_budgets` to retrieve configuration data and feed it straight into your analytical scripts. It makes testing your budget-tracking code much faster. You get the real API response every time you run your agent.
