Every developer on your team accesses the `search_game_times` tool by adding the HowLongToBeat MCP Server to your config. Enterprise development relies on consistent environments. You commit the configuration file to Git. When a new hire clones the repo, their AI client immediately knows how to query game lengths using the search tool.
Build gaming features with real numbers.
Copilot Chat pulls actual completion hours through the `search_game_times` tool while generating frontend components. Mocking data for a gaming platform takes time and usually looks terrible. Ask the agent to create a UI card for a specific RPG. It fetches the main story and completionist times, then builds a React component populated with real data instead of placeholders.
Stop scraping external sites.
Developers bypass manual API wrappers because this MCP Server runs the `search_game_times` tool natively. We waste hours writing custom scrapers for game statistics. The agent executes the search and formats the response directly in your Copilot window. You get the exact hours required to beat a game without ever opening a browser tab.
