End-to-End Incident Resolution in Cline
Cline doesn't just suggest fixes; it actively hunts down bugs. By calling `list_logs` and `list_events`, the agent pulls live error traces directly into VS Code to locate the exact line of code causing a production crash. Once it identifies the broken file, Cline edits the code, runs your local test suite, and verifies the fix. It bridges the gap between active production telemetry and your local codebase.
Automated Telemetry Audits via MCP Server
Let your agent audit your monitoring setup. Cline uses `list_alerts` to check your active alert rules and cleans up stale configurations using `delete_alert` through this MCP integration. If it notices a missing alert for a critical endpoint, it executes `create_alert` to establish a new monitor. This keeps your alerting rules perfectly synchronized with your code changes.
Context-Aware Dashboard Inspections
Cline reads your live dashboard configurations to understand how your services behave in production. It uses `list_dashboards` to find relevant metrics and `get_dashboard` to extract specific telemetry layouts over the MCP connection. This allows the agent to build new UI components or optimize database queries based on real-world usage patterns. It uses actual production performance data to guide its coding decisions.
