How to Use the HyperDX (Open Source Observability) MCP in Cursor
Write code that accounts for production reality. Integrate HyperDX (Open Source Observability) into Cursor to debug with live telemetry.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect HyperDX (Open Source Observability) MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect HyperDX (Open Source Observability) to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live log context into Cursor
Query your production logs using `list_logs` while you write code. The agent pulls the exact error patterns you need to resolve bugs in real time. This keeps your code grounded in actual system behavior, ensuring your fixes address the real issues seen in your environment.
Manage alerts from your Cursor editor
Keep your monitoring in sync with your deployment cycle. Use `list_alerts` to see what is currently watching your services and `delete_alert` to clear out stale rules. If you need to add new monitoring logic, `create_alert` lets you define it right from your project root.
Access dashboard metrics in Cursor
Use `list_dashboards` to find the right view for your current task. The `get_dashboard` tool brings that telemetry into your workspace for immediate review. Your agent uses this data to suggest changes that align with your current performance metrics.
