Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect IEX Cloud MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect IEX Cloud to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Write code using live stock data in Cursor
Stop writing mock data or dummy stubs for your financial apps. This MCP Server lets your Cursor agent run `get_stock_quote` to fetch live equity prices and inject real JSON payloads straight into your active files. While you write your portfolio logic, the agent pulls actual balance sheets using `get_stock_financials` so your test cases run against real financial numbers instead of guessed schemas.
Build trading strategies with historical charts
Feed your backtesting algorithms with accurate historical price points. Your Cursor chat agent calls `get_stock_chart` to retrieve historical stock data and formats it directly into your Python or TypeScript arrays. If you are building crypto features, the editor pulls real-time token valuations using `get_crypto_quote` to ensure your local database seeds match current market rates.
Track macro trends directly inside your IDE
Monitor global market movements while you write code. Cursor uses `get_fx_latest` to fetch live exchange rates, making it simple to write multi-currency conversion functions on the fly. The editor can also inspect broader economic health by invoking `get_treasury_yield` to pull current bond rates directly into your workspace.
