How to Use the ImageCharts MCP in Cline
Cline uses the ImageCharts MCP Server to build, test, and render live data visualizations inside your VS Code workspace.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect ImageCharts MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect ImageCharts to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline executes chart creation end-to-end
Tell Cline to generate a report, and it uses `generate_scatter_plot` or `generate_bubble_chart` to create the visual assets you need. It doesn't just suggest code. It runs the tool, retrieves the URL, and writes the image tag into your documentation or UI components.
Visual data output for your tasks
Cline can pull live data and pipe it through `generate_polar_area_chart` or `generate_doughnut_chart` to visualize trends. You avoid the overhead of complex rendering engines. The tool returns a clean image link that works everywhere.
One-click setup for ImageCharts
Open your Cline sidebar and add the server via the marketplace tab. Once installed, the agent can access all 10 tools immediately. It handles the API interaction logic for you. You just provide the labels and values.
