Pull candidate data into Cursor with this MCP Server
The `get_contact_details` tool fetches complete profiles for specific candidates during your active coding sessions. Cursor uses this live payload to generate precise TypeScript interfaces or database schemas instead of relying on outdated mock profiles. You can feed these records straight into your local test suites. This lets you debug your onboarding pipelines using actual data formats from your screening database.
Trigger background checks from your editor
Initiating background checks is simple when you use `create_new_vetting_check` inside Cursor's agent window. Your agent writes the integration logic and tests the API call in real-time, executing the check without leaving your workspace. To inspect the exact payload, run `list_supported_check_types` first. This gives your agent the precise screening codes needed to build compliant checkout flows.
Register screening contacts while coding
Adding new candidates to your screening pipeline is handled by `create_screening_contact`. When you test your registration endpoints, Cursor calls this tool to verify your database matches the background check vendor's records. Querying your database is simple with `list_screening_contacts`. It returns active candidate profiles so you can verify that your backend sync is working correctly.
