Create your Vinkius account to connect IQAir to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Air Quality Apps in Cursor
The `get_city_air_quality` tool feeds real-time environmental data directly into your active editor session. Your agent writes functions using live PM2.5, PM10, and temperature values instead of relying on stale placeholder data. Having this tool active in Cursor means you can write, test, and debug environmental data pipelines in real time. Your agent uses the exact JSON structure returned by the live API to build precise data models.
Validate Location Logic using Cursor MCP Server
The `get_nearest_city_air_quality` tool resolves the nearest monitoring station using your current IP address. Your agent tests location-based features inside your Cursor chat by fetching live local conditions instantly. This removes the need to hardcode coordinates while debugging your app. The MCP server provides immediate feedback on how your code handles dynamic geolocation payloads.
Generate Lists with IQAir Tools
The `list_supported_countries` tool retrieves the complete list of active countries from the global database. Your agent uses this along with `list_supported_states` and `list_supported_cities` to populate dropdown menus and validation schemas in your code. You can ask Cursor to generate database seed files or frontend configuration objects using these live directories. The agent checks `check_api_status` to ensure the registry is online before writing the generated arrays to your files.
