Connect itch.io MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect itch.io to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build itch.io dashboards directly in Cline
The `get_user_games` tool retrieves your itch.io purchases, uploads, and collections directly into your workspace. Cline reads this raw JSON and can instantly write a custom React dashboard or markdown file to organize your indie library. Because Cline operates as an autonomous agent, it doesn't just show your itch.io data. It writes the files, formats the tables, and saves the dashboard directly to your project folder in one run.
Inspect curated itch.io lists with Cline
The `get_collection_games` tool pulls titles, prices, and developer info from any specific itch.io collection ID. Cline uses this tool to grab metadata from your curated lists and compare them against your local project files. You can ask Cline to analyze a collection of reference games from itch.io, and Cline will then fetch the details, extract the developer URLs, and write a summary markdown report of your itch.io games for your team.
Track your itch.io collections inside Cline
The `get_user_collections` tool lists your itch.io game collections alongside their game counts and URLs. Cline uses this structure to keep your local workspace documentation aligned with your live itch.io account. This MCP Server makes it simple to feed your itch.io curations to Cline. It handles the API requests behind the scenes so Cline can focus on organizing your assets and writing clean markdown summaries.
