Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect itch.io MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect itch.io to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Pull Indie Game Metadata into Cursor
The `get_user_games` tool feeds your itch.io development portfolio and purchased library data directly into the Cursor editor. Your agent reads actual game titles, prices, and developer profiles to generate accurate code structures instead of relying on placeholder data. This keeps your coding flow uninterrupted when building custom library managers or portfolio sites. You get real data injected straight into your active workspace.
Inspect Game Bundles using this MCP Server
The `get_collection_games` tool retrieves complete game lists from any specific itch.io collection ID. It returns developer details and cover image URLs directly to your Cursor agent. If you are building a custom dashboard, this tool lets your editor fetch live API payloads to test your UI components. You don't have to manually write mock JSON files anymore.
Map Collections inside the Editor
The `get_user_collections` tool lists your itch.io collection names, IDs, and URLs inside Cursor. Your agent uses this structure to map out database schemas or API endpoints. Having these IDs handy means you can quickly pass them to other tools without leaving your code files. It speeds up local development when working on itch.io integrations.
