Audit user access directly in Claude Desktop

The `list_users` tool pulls your live directory list straight into your chat interface. You get raw usernames, unique IDs, and current account statuses without clicking through the admin console. Follow up by calling `get_user` on a specific ID to inspect their group memberships and active security settings. Claude Desktop runs these checks locally as subprocesses, keeping your directory data on your machine.

Inspect system compliance via the MCP Server

This MCP Server exposes `list_systems` to pull hostnames, hardware IDs, and OS versions directly into your conversation. You immediately see which machines are active and which ones are lagging on updates. Match those machines against your security rules by calling `list_policies` to verify disk encryption or firewall configurations. Claude Desktop formats this hardware data into clean markdown tables on the fly.

Map directory structures in your chat

Use `list_user_groups` and `list_directories` to map out your entire organizational structure in seconds. You see exactly how your LDAP, AD, or Google Cloud directories link to your current user pools. If you need to audit software access, run `list_applications` to inspect every configured SSO app. Claude Desktop handles the raw JSON responses from the MCP server and surfaces the exact integrations you need to review.
