Connect Keen MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Keen to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
End-to-end dashboard execution
Tell Cline to build a metrics component, and it handles the entire process. It starts by using `list_saved_queries` and `list_datasets` to figure out what data is actually available in your Keen project. Once it knows the schema, it writes the React code, imports the live data, and shows you the diff. You do not have to copy-paste snippets or switch context. Cline builds the UI and wires up the data fetching in one motion.
Test Keen MCP Server tracking
You need to verify your instrumentation before pushing to production. Cline runs `record_event` to simulate a user action right from the editor. It creates the exact JSON payload your frontend would send. Next, it fires `count_events` or `count_unique` to prove the event registered correctly. It acts as both the client sending the data and the server verifying the receipt, ensuring your tracking code is flawless.
Calculate metrics on the fly
Stop switching to a web console to check your stats. Cline runs `average_property` and `sum_property` directly against your live collections. You ask for the monthly revenue, and it pulls the exact integer. It can also use `select_unique` to grab distinct user IDs and cross-reference them with your local database code. It brings the raw analytical power of your event streams directly into your IDE environment.
