Connect Kibana MCP to Claude Desktop
Create your Vinkius account to connect Kibana to Claude Desktop and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Spaces and Manage Views in Claude Desktop
This Kibana MCP Server uses `create_space` and `create_data_view` to set up isolated environments directly from your Claude Desktop chat window. Claude Desktop executes these commands locally, giving you immediate control over your index patterns and organizational boundaries without opening a browser tab. You ask your local Claude Desktop app to provision a new Kibana workspace for an incoming team. It fires off the requests, builds the index associations, and returns the exact configuration state using `get_space`.
Bulk Import and Migrate Saved Objects
The server calls `import_saved_objects` and `bulk_create_saved_objects` to migrate dashboards and visualizations across your environments. Instead of manually uploading NDJSON files through the UI, you drag them into Claude Desktop and let the agent handle the Kibana payload. When conflicts pop up during a Kibana migration, the Claude Desktop agent uses `resolve_import_errors` to fix broken references on the fly. You watch the live output in your chat window as your dashboards rebuild themselves.
Monitor Alerting Rules and Agent Policies
This integration relies on `create_rule` and `list_agent_policies` to audit your alerting thresholds and fleet deployments. Your agent parses the active rules, identifies misconfigured thresholds, and updates them using `update_rule`. Claude Desktop calls `get_agent` and displays the Kibana host status directly in your conversation history. You don't have to click through dozens of Fleet menus to check on a silent Elastic Agent; instead, ask Claude Desktop to get the status.
