Terminal-Based Design Audits with Claude Code

This setup uses `list_project_files` and `list_boards` to let you audit your design files straight from the command line. You don't need a heavy browser interface to check if your assets match the latest design system. Claude Code queries `get_project` to fetch the metadata and compares it to your local files. It quickly flags missing assets or outdated layers, keeping your repository clean and accurate.

Command-Line Asset Extraction via MCP Server

The `get_file` and `list_layers` tools allow Claude Code to extract visual assets and layout specs directly to your local disk. You can pipe this raw data into custom shell scripts or build pipelines. Instead of clicking through a GUI to export images, you tell Claude Code to pull the files. It handles the API calls, downloads the assets, and places them exactly where your build script expects them.

Headless Feedback Tracking

This integration uses `get_comments` to let you monitor design discussions directly from your terminal session. You can query active comment threads on specific boards without opening the web app. By combining `list_members` and `list_teams`, you can filter comments by team or designer. This makes it easy to run cron jobs or CI checks that alert your team when critical design blocks are resolved.
