Connect LibreTranslate API MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect LibreTranslate API to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline language mapping with LibreTranslate API
Cline uses `list_supported_languages` to pull the current list of available codes from your server. It maps these to your project needs before starting any translation. This avoids runtime errors. You get an accurate list of what your instance actually supports before you commit to a specific language pair.
Automated text processing in Cline
Instruct Cline to run `translate_text` on your resource files. It sends the content, waits for the response, and writes the translated output to your target directory. It handles the entire loop. You tell Cline what needs changing, and it manages the tool calls to get the job done.
Cline verifies your LibreTranslate API status
Run `check_api_status` as part of your initial setup task. Cline verifies the endpoint health before it attempts to process any language data. This prevents failures during long-running tasks. If the service is down, Cline stops early and alerts you.
