Connect LicenseCheck API MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect LicenseCheck API to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline audits your dependencies
Tell Cline to check your project and it will immediately use `check_software_license` to map every dependency. It cross-references your files against the database to find potential blockers. You'll get a report on which packages are safe and which ones require a manual review. Cline does the heavy lifting so you don't have to.
Instant license details in Cline
When you need to understand a license clause, Cline executes `get_license_details` to fetch the metadata. It pulls the conditions straight into your chat window. You'll see exactly what you can and can't do with a package. It saves you from digging through legal docs manually.
Full inventory tracking
Cline runs `list_all_licenses` to generate a master list of all dependencies in your active workspace. It verifies the connection with `check_api_status` first to ensure the data is accurate. This gives you a snapshot of your entire project compliance status. You'll know exactly what's inside your build before you ship.
