Connect Linear MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Linear to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
End-to-end task execution for Cline
Cline acts on your behalf by fetching data via `list_issues` and performing updates. It writes the code and then marks the task as complete in your tracker. This removes the manual step of toggling between your browser and VS Code. You define the objective and Cline uses `create_issue` or `update_issue` to mirror your progress in the system.
Direct issue inspection in Cline
Get the full context of a bug or feature request using `get_issue`. Cline parses the description, labels, and status to inform its coding decisions. It handles the heavy lifting of gathering requirements. Because it has access to `list_labels` and `list_projects`, Cline knows exactly where a task fits into your broader roadmap.
Collaborative updates via Cline
Inject your progress reports into tickets using `create_comment`. Cline attaches relevant code snippets or explanations, keeping your team in the loop. This keeps your documentation accurate without forcing you to stop coding. Cline uses the credentials you provide to authenticate every request securely.
