How to Use the LinkedIn MCP in Cline
Cline gives your VS Code agent direct access to LinkedIn, enabling automated posting and profile auditing.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect LinkedIn MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect LinkedIn to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cline handles your LinkedIn workflow
Cline uses `get_me` to verify your identity before executing any tasks. It pulls your profile ID to ensure it interacts with the correct account. This creates a direct line between your editor and your professional network. The agent acts on your behalf once you provide the command.
Publish content directly from Cline
You can push updates to your feed by invoking `create_post`. Cline formats the content and sends it to the API immediately. It avoids the manual overhead of drafting inside a browser. Just define your text, and the agent takes over.
Audit your LinkedIn presence in Cline
The `list_organizations` tool allows Cline to scan every page you control. It presents the data clearly so you can decide what needs attention. Use `get_organization` to pull deep details on specific accounts. Cline does the heavy lifting so you don't have to.
