How to Use the LinkedIn MCP in Cursor
Generate code that interacts with your LinkedIn feed and organizations directly inside Cursor using this MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect LinkedIn MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect LinkedIn to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate live LinkedIn feed integrations in Cursor
The `list_posts` tool pulls your latest feed updates directly into your Cursor editor. This lets the Cursor agent analyze real post performance data instead of relying on outdated static mock files. You can use this live LinkedIn post data to write, test, and refine custom analytics scripts on the fly in Cursor. The editor reads the actual JSON output, making your code highly accurate from the first run.
Manage LinkedIn company pages programmatically inside Cursor
The `list_organizations` tool retrieves the company pages you manage directly inside your active Cursor workspace. The AI agent uses this list to write custom functions that target the correct business entities. By pairing this with `get_organization`, you can build internal dashboards that display your LinkedIn company details in Cursor. You don't have to leave your code editor to check API payloads.
Test LinkedIn post creation workflows directly from Cursor
The `create_post` tool allows your Cursor agent to publish test updates to your feed while you write your distribution code. This shortens your feedback loop because you see the live API results immediately in your terminal output. You can also run `get_me` to verify that your active LinkedIn developer token points to the correct profile in Cursor. That prevents you from accidentally running MCP Server tests on the wrong production account.
