Connect Listen Notes MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Listen Notes to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate Podcast Discovery with Windsurf
`get_best_podcasts` gets top-rated shows based on specific genres you pass to it. Cascade runs this tool, identifies the genre IDs, and automatically matches them against your project configuration. Look, here's the thing: you don't have to copy-paste genre lists or lookup codes manually. The agent chains this with other commands to build local JSON feeds of top shows instantly.
Deep-Dive Search and Episode Analysis
`search_podcasts_or_episodes` queries the entire Listen Notes database using a raw text query. When you ask Cascade to find shows about a specific topic, it triggers this tool to fetch matching episodes. Cascade reads the returned search payloads and extracts the exact episode IDs. It then passes those IDs directly to subsequent tools to pull transcripts or show notes.
Pull Show Outlines into the IDE
`get_podcast_details` extracts the complete metadata and episode list for any specific podcast ID. Cascade parses this massive payload to map out season structures or episode release schedules. This integration eliminates manual API testing cycles inside your IDE. Your agent uses the data to generate markdown summaries or populate local database schemas on the fly.
