…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Liveblocks MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Liveblocks to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Generate typed code from live Liveblocks storage schemas
Stop writing mock JSON schemas for your real-time components. Let your Cursor agent run `get_storage` to pull down the exact shape of your live collaborative room state. It reads the actual production or staging keys directly. Once Cursor understands your actual storage structure, it writes accurate TypeScript interfaces and state handlers. No more mismatch between your frontend code and your actual Liveblocks backend state.
Initialize and patch multiplayer state inside Cursor
Setting up complex initial states for multiplayer testing is slow. With this MCP Server, your Cursor agent can run `initialize_storage` to reset a room's state to a clean baseline before you run your test suites. If you need to simulate a specific user action mid-edit, use `patch_storage` to apply fine-grained JSON patches. It allows you to quickly verify how your UI reacts to deep state mutations.
Write comment sync logic with real thread data
Building collaborative threads requires precise data mapping. Let Cursor fetch live comment data using `list_threads` and `get_thread` so you can write rendering logic against real user conversations. You can even test resolution states by asking the agent to trigger `resolve_thread` while you watch your local UI update. It makes coding real-time feedback loops a breeze.
