How to Use the Makeswift MCP in Cursor
Use Makeswift with Cursor to inject live site data directly into your coding environment.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Makeswift MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Makeswift to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Pull site components into Cursor
Stop manual lookups when building new features. Use `list_components` to see exactly what is registered in your site, so you can write code that matches your existing design system. This gives your AI agent the exact context it needs. It generates code based on your actual site components rather than guessing at your structure.
Fetch page details for Cursor context
When you need to debug a specific route, call `get_page` to see how it is structured. It brings the page data into your editor so you can fix issues faster. You avoid the back-and-forth of checking the browser. The data lives right where you are writing your code.
Keep snapshots versioned in Cursor
Manage your site state without leaving the IDE. Use `create_snapshot` whenever you finish a major component update to ensure you have a clean backup. If something goes wrong, you can quickly check your history with `list_snapshots`. It keeps your development flow moving without needing to open a separate dashboard.
