How to Use the Mapulus MCP in Windsurf
Windsurf connects directly to Mapulus for autonomous Australian spatial analysis without manual step-by-step prompting.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Mapulus MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Mapulus to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automated location enrichment for Windsurf
Cascade uses `enrich_location` to pull spatial context into your codebase. It identifies the coordinates and appends relevant geographic metadata automatically. This saves you from manual lookups. The agent handles the data flow while you focus on the application logic.
Generate travel-time models in Windsurf
Windsurf executes `get_isochrone` to map accessibility zones based on travel time. You define the origin, and the agent generates the boundary geometry. It handles the conversion of these shapes into usable formats. Your dashboard gets accurate reachability data without writing custom geometry parsers.
Query Australian boundaries in Windsurf
Use `search_boundaries` to find specific statistical areas across Australia. Windsurf parses the search results to narrow down the correct identifier for your query. Once found, the agent pipes the output into `get_boundary_details`. You get precise shape data ready for rendering in your UI components.
