Connect Mastodon MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Mastodon to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live Fediverse data into your Cursor workspace
This development-focused Mastodon MCP Server injects live Fediverse payloads directly into your active Cursor editor window using `get_home_timeline` and `get_status`. Stop writing code against outdated mock data. By seeing the exact Mastodon JSON structure your instance returns, you can write cleaner parsing logic inside Cursor. Your agent uses these live responses to generate accurate TypeScript profiles on the fly.
Automate code testing with live Mastodon actions
This testing-ready MCP Server executes write actions like `post_status` and `upload_media` directly from your Cursor workspace. You can test your application's write paths without leaving Cursor by telling the agent to run these real API calls. If a test post goes wrong, just have the Cursor agent run `delete_status` to clean up your instance. It speeds up your development loop because you don't have to switch to an external API client to verify your code's behavior.
Monitor instance health while you write code
This health-monitoring MCP Server lets your Cursor agent run `check_health` and `get_instance_info` to verify the state of your target server during debugging. When building tools for the Fediverse, instance uptime matters. You can also pull the server rules using `get_instance_rules` to ensure your automated posts comply with local policies inside Cursor. It keeps your development aligned with instance guidelines without manual checks.
