Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Matomo MCP to Cline

Autonomous analytics reporting in Cline
Cline can run `list_sites` to find your project ID and start pulling data immediately. It automates the process of generating performance reports based on your live site data. When you ask for a performance check, it uses `get_visits_summary` to pull the numbers. It then summarizes these findings in a new markdown file for your team.
Direct conversion tracking in Cline
Stop switching tabs to check your metrics. Cline calls `get_goals` to see if your recent code updates increased your conversion rate. It can even suggest code optimizations if it notices a drop in goals. By looking at `get_top_websites`, it identifies which traffic sources bring in the most qualified users.
Debugging user paths with Cline
Cline uses `get_visitor_profile` to reconstruct a user's session. This lets it see exactly what led to a reported error on your site. It cross-references this with `get_top_pages` to see if the error is isolated to specific site sections. This turns abstract analytics into a concrete debugging plan.
