How to Use the Matomo MCP in Cursor
Inject live Matomo analytics into your codebase using Cursor Agent mode for data-driven development.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Matomo MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Matomo to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Cursor Agent data injection
Feed live analytics into your coding process by letting Cursor call `get_visits_summary`. Your agent works with the actual numbers from your production environment. Stop relying on stale mock data. Use the real metrics to inform your feature development and performance optimizations.
Map user paths in Cursor
Use `get_top_pages` to understand which parts of your application users actually touch. The agent can then prioritize refactoring or testing based on high-traffic routes. This bridges the gap between your analytics and your code. It makes your development focus purely objective.
Automate goal tracking in Cursor
Query `get_goals` to see if your latest deployment improved conversion rates. The agent can compare these results against your current codebase changes. It removes the friction of manual reporting. You get immediate feedback on how your code impacts business performance.
