Analyze massive event datasets by feeding results to Gemini

Analyze massive event datasets by feeding results from `list_meetings` directly into your Google ADK pipeline. Gemini's million-token context window can ingest hours of audience activity and extract deep patterns without hitting token caps. The model reads raw poll outcomes via `get_poll_details` and matches them against participant lists using `list_attendees`. This lets you run complex, multi-hour meeting analysis without truncating critical audience feedback.

Sync live audience engagement data to BigQuery

Sync live audience engagement data by pulling metrics with `get_meeting_analytics` and piping them into BigQuery. Your Google ADK agent can poll MeetingPulse metrics in real-time and structure them for direct database insertion. You can trigger this archiving pipeline after every town hall, using `list_meeting_files` to catalog shared resources alongside the core metrics. It turns transient live event data into structured, queryable enterprise intelligence.

Restrict exposed capabilities within your Google ADK setup

Restrict exposed capabilities within your Google ADK setup by filtering access to specific tools like `search_meetings`. This allows you to maintain tight control over what your enterprise agent can access on the corporate network. You can block administrative tools like `get_account_info` while still letting the agent pull user-facing data via `list_polls`. This ensures your Gemini-powered assistant operates safely within your corporate network parameters.

Setup guide

Set up MeetingPulse MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with MeetingPulse tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="MeetingPulse_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to MeetingPulse tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Common questions about MeetingPulse MCP in Google ADK

Install `google-adk` and define an `McpToolset` pointing to your Vinkius HTTP URL. Pass this toolset into your `LlmAgent` constructor to expose the audience engagement tools to Gemini.
Yes, your agent can invoke `search_meetings` using specific keywords to find older sessions. It can then drill down into specific files using `list_meeting_files` to retrieve shared slide decks or documents.
The SDK auto-discovers all 10 tools, making endpoints like `list_qa_sessions` and `get_meeting` instantly available to Gemini for reasoning and execution.
Yes, the Google ADK supports both Stdio and HTTP transports, allowing you to run the MeetingPulse connection locally or host it securely on Google Cloud Run.
All raw poll results and Q&A transcripts remain encrypted in transit. Vinkius runs the MCP Server in an isolated, ephemeral environment, preventing any persistent storage or exposure of your audience interaction logs.
