How to Use the Mela MCP in Windsurf
Let Cascade handle your site reporting in Windsurf by chaining Mela tools to log hours and update project status automatically.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Mela MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Mela to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Chain Mela tools in Windsurf
Cascade reads your instructions and strings together the necessary operations to keep your project data current. It triggers `log_work_hours` and `log_materials` in one go. You don't need to babysit the process. Cascade fetches the required activity IDs and confirms the updates, keeping your site records accurate without manual clicking.
Automate site updates with this MCP Server
Windsurf connects to this MCP Server to pull real-time data from your job sites. Use `get_activity` to feed context directly into your codebase. Everything stays in sync. When you modify code, the agent pushes the relevant notes back to the feed using `post_message`.
Direct project management access
Manage your workspace members and teams without leaving the editor. Cascade uses `list_users` and `list_teams` to identify who is assigned to specific tasks. Need to reassign work? The agent handles the status changes via `update_activity_status` based on your project requirements.
