How to Use the Mention MCP in Cursor
Build code that responds to live brand alerts by linking Cursor with the Mention MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Mention MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Mention to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Code with real-time brand alerts in Cursor using our MCP Server
The `list_monitoring_alerts` tool feeds actual tracking parameters directly into your active Cursor workspace. Your agent uses this live context to generate custom dashboard components that match your real alert structures.
Build automated keyword workflows
The `search_mentions_by_keyword` tool pulls raw web hits into Cursor so you can test your custom sorting algorithms against live social media text. The `list_active_webhooks` tool inspects your current event configurations to verify that your local dev server handles Mention event payloads correctly.
Control your feed from the editor
The `mark_mention_as_read` tool updates your feed status directly from your Cursor terminal or agent chat. The `remove_monitoring_alert` tool deletes temporary tracking rules created during testing to keep your production environment clean.
