How to Use the Mercury MCP in Cline
Cline handles your banking data by connecting to Mercury, allowing you to build financial dashboards and tools without manual lookups.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Mercury MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Mercury to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build with live Mercury data in Cline
Tell Cline to build a dashboard, and it will use `list_accounts` and `get_balance` to populate your components with real data. It writes the code, imports the necessary types, and tests the integration for you. You get a working financial view in seconds.
Automate transaction analysis
Cline can scan your history by running `list_transactions` across your accounts. It identifies spending patterns based on the data it finds. You avoid the tedious work of exporting CSVs. The agent acts on the raw API output to give you insights immediately.
Manage invoices and customers
Use `list_invoices` and `list_customers` to sync your billing state with your local app logic. Cline handles the mapping without extra prompts. It ensures your frontend reflects the actual state of your receivables. You just define the goal and let the agent do the heavy lifting.
