How to Use the Messenger MCP in Cursor
Build and test Facebook chat automation directly inside Cursor using live Messenger tools.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Messenger MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Messenger to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Debug live Facebook API payloads in Cursor
Stop writing mock data for your Facebook integrations by letting your Cursor agent call `get_page_info`. The editor pulls actual configuration data directly into your active workspace. This means you can write and test your custom routing logic against real production settings. The MCP Server feeds these live payloads straight into Cursor's chat window.
Generate functional Messenger code with live context
When you ask Cursor to build a reply bot, it calls `list_conversations` to see how active threads are structured. The editor uses actual message schemas to generate your functions. It then generates code that maps perfectly to your actual Facebook Page data. No more guessing field names or dealing with unexpected API responses.
Test outbound messaging directly from Cursor
Verify your webhook logic by triggering real replies from the editor using `send_message`. The Cursor agent dispatches test strings to your test accounts instantly. You can also inspect existing assets with `list_message_creative` to ensure your code handles rich media payloads correctly. It cuts down your development feedback loop to seconds.
